Cleans, deodorizes, gives shine to the coat. SkinMed chlorhexidine 4% is a concentrated antimicrobial shampoo for dogs, cats and horses. It belongs to the group of medicated shampoos that contain a high concentration of the active ingredient chlorhexidine. The shampoo is used for skin and coat problems in dogs, cats and horses. It is also prescribed for the diagnosis of seborrheic dermatitis. The product has not only disinfectant and cleansing properties, but also a deodorizing effect and restores the shine of the treated animal's coat.

What are the properties of excipients?
Sodium lauryl ether sulfate (Texapon NSO) – ensures viscosity and emulsifying properties.
Cocamidopropyl betaine (Dehyton PK45) – strengthens the skin's barrier function and has an antistatic effect.
PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate (Cetiol HE) – ensures the necessary solubility of medicated shampoos.
Oco glucoside (Planatacare 818 UP) – has excellent dermatological effects.
PEG-12 Dimethicone (Dow Corning 193) – a conditioner that moisturizes and softens the skin.
Polyquaternium-10 (Celquat SC-230M) – moisturizes the skin.

Product storage conditions and warnings
How to use: Apply SkinMed® Chlorhexidine shampoo to the moistened coat of the animal in such an amount that sufficient foam is formed. Bathe the animal with warm water. Use a sufficient amount of shampoo (usually 15 ml of shampoo is enough for a medium-sized dog, which corresponds to a tablespoon) to form foam and add more water if necessary. Massage the product into the coat and skin for 2-5 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water. If necessary, the shampoo can be used a second time. Dry the coat. The procedure can be repeated as needed and depending on the condition of the skin and coat, every 1-7 days. When the condition of the skin and coat improves, the intervals between bathing can be extended.
