GLUCOSAMINE AND CHONDROITIN SULFATE - a substance that, for the first time in the world, has been proven by Italian studies to affect the process of joint wear and tear in both older dogs and dogs that exercise. Normally, glucosamine is found in the body in the joints, synovial fluid, tendons, ligaments and muscles and is synthesized from glucose. In some cases, when the body lacks naturally occurring glucosamine, an external supplement can be administered, i.e., using feed supplements. The administration of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate to puppies and large or elderly dogs can be particularly beneficial for strengthening bone and cartilage structures and chondroprotection. Glucosamine is obtained from exogenous substances by hydrolyzing chitin, which is obtained from the shells of some crustaceans (marine exoskeletons). Chondroitin sulfate, like hyaluronic acid, belongs to the group of heteropolysaccharides called glycosaminoglycans or GAGs. They form the main substance of the extracellular matrix of connective tissue in the form of proteoglycans. Chondroitin sulfate is composed of repeating linear units made up of N-acetylgalactosamine and D-glucuronic acid. Chondroitin sulfate is found in cartilage. Chondroitin sulfate, especially in combination with glucosamine, can promote and thus maintain the structure of cartilage (chondroprotection).

First of all, it attracts water to the cartilage tissue. Articular cartilage is not a vascular tissue; nutrients enter it through a fluid called synovial fluid, or synovia, which not only nourishes this tissue, but also performs a shock-absorbing function, i.e. reduces friction between the ends of two bones. Synovial fluid consists mainly of water, hyaluronic acid and glycoproteins, so the moisturizing function of synovial fluid is very important.

MANGOSTANIN - Garcinia Mangostana Efficacy. Mangostana is a typical fruit of various areas of Southeast Asia. In the late 1990s, scientists isolated xanthones from the mangostana fruit. The class of xanthones, polyphenols derived from dibenzo-y-pyrone, has many properties, the most important of which is the high antioxidant power of gamma mangosteen. Mangosteen acts as a joint protector. (The biological properties of mangosteen and various other mangosteen xanthonoids, including antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anticancer effects, have been studied.)

BIOCELL COLLAGEN® is a mixture of substances: hydrolyzed collagen type II, hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate, essential amino acids. Collagen is the main protein of connective tissue, essential for the structure of joints, tendons and ligaments. Type II collagen is the type of collagen most often found in articular cartilage, accounting for 80-90% of the total collagen content. Glucosamine sulfate (from shellfish shells) 20%, chondroitin sulfate (from bovine cartilage) 20%, chicken liver and heart meal, products obtained from the processing of medicinal herbs: (Garcinia mangostana fruit pulp powder *, turmeric powder *), fish oil, magnesium stearate, chicken sternum cartilage hydrolysate with a high concentration of collagen, hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate.

Packaging :
